A comfortable, newly built dream house

During the planning phase of their new single-family home, the Vollmers were already certain: With natural materials we will create a perfect living atmosphere which guarantees comfortable temperatures in both the summer and the winter.

And this dream became reality: Constructed to passive house standards with 39 cubic meters of magnum board of varying thickness (75, 100 and 125 mm) a spacious, ecological dream house was built in the shortest time. Thanks to the high level of prefabrication of individual magnum board elements, costs for building, finishing work and subsequent trades were substantially reduced.

The married couple wanted natural and at the same time effective insulation for the 405 square meter roof, wall and ceiling surfaces which had been built with the stable, non-warping, certified and ecological timber construction system magnum board. After consulting with their builders and conducting their own research they decided on KRONOTHERM, the ecological insulation system made from natural wood fibers with excellent functional properties.

Now the homeowners and their guests are thrilled by the pleasant climate they experience in every part of their magnum board dream house.
